The school we train at is Martial Arts America, located in Ankeny, Iowa. We have several locations around the Des Moines metro area. Many of the classes are located at elementary schools or churches around the area at convenient times.
The school practices family style Tae Kwon Do, which means light contact sparring and our classes integrate all age levels from 6 upward, and all belts from white to black. We really like having the kids in our classes with us. It gives us an opportunity to work with them one on one and we learn to trust each other. There is no feeling like having you 11 year old daughter throw a reverse hooking kick, that she breaks boards with, at your head and knowing that it isn't a big deal.
